Barnett House Recovery Centre

Barnett House Recovery Centre is a peer-run service that runs a Recovery College for adults as well as an Intentional Recovery Community. You’re welcome to join our community, Te Whare Barnett, on Facebook.

Located at 102 Domain Terrace in Spreydon, Barnett House is two doors down from Stepping Stone Trust’s Adult Crisis Respite.

Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, it has an outdoor meeting place called ‘The Serenity Tree’, meeting rooms, a well-equipped and spacious kitchen, a library, and a computer suite.

Barnett House is a peer-run service that runs a Recovery College for adults 18 years and older where people learn about wellbeing tools to assist their recovery, and has an Intentional Recovery Community where we share our insights and learnings around recovery and create networks.

Barnett House Recovery Centre’s workshops and groups are available to everyone over 18 years of age with lived experience of emotional or mental distress, neurodivergence, minority states of reality, addiction, and/or autism, plus their whanau/family, supporters and support workers.

There is no cost to attend. For more information send an email to
