Great Careers Start Right Here!

Stepping Stone Trust (SST) was formed over 25 years ago, as a ministry of South West Baptist Church, initially offering care and support during the day to those affected by mental illness. The Trust quickly evolved through providing full residential services extending into a range of adult and youth community support services, assisting people transitioning back to independent living, or to support them to remain in their own home.

SST runs a range of youth services covering residential and respite care, AOD, community support (including intensive support) and working with children & families affected by mental illness.  It is the largest community provider of MH services in Canterbury, working with over 500 people each week.
