Who we are
The Caroline Reid Whānau Support Service are a team who are passionate about the value of whanau work, community connection and offer a flexible response to individual experiences of mental distress. Our team works separately with tamariki and mātua, as well as in group situations with whole whānau.
Service Misson
We work collaboratively with whanau to encourage healthy relationships with clear communication with their tamariki. We actively promote understanding of mental distress for the whole whānau, and how distress can adversely affect everyone in the whānau. We aim to build positive relationships between our kaimahi workers and tangata engaged in the service, to foster trust and model safe connections during good times as well as times of distress.
